The 8th Ibero-American Symposium on the History of Cartography (8th SIAHC) will be held, on second call and through a virtual platform, on October 21 and 22, 2020. The advance of the COVID-19 pandemic forced the suspension of the presencial symposium that It had to be held in Barcelona last April and that has led us to organise it virtually.

The communications already accepted at the end of 2019 and that responded to the call on the subject –The map as an element of cultural connection between America and Europe–  will be presented.

Once the availability of the speakers has been confirmed, the final program and the communication channel to be used will be announced.

Registration – free of charge – will be essential to be able to access the different virtual sessions of the symposium.
