New review of famous expedition that, between 1736 and 1744, the Science Academy of París propelled to measure a degree of Meridian near to the equator, specifically in the region of the Andes, in the Audience of Quito, the under Spanish control.
The expedition was guided by Louis Godin and La Condomina and participated, by the Spanish Crown, Jorge Juan and Antonio de Ulloa.
