Biography:

Montse Guerrero (Lleida, 1976). PhD in Geography from the University of Lleida (2013) and Master’s Degree in Geographic Information Technology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2001). Since 2001 he has been a qualified research staff at the University of Lleida within the Scientific-Technical Service of Cartography and GIS. Her doctoral thesis focuses on locating defects in the boundary of the townships of the province of Lleida using GIS. She has been the coordinator and professor of the Postgraduate in GIS offered by the UdL during 11 editions. Currently, she combines research with teaching as an associate professor at the University of Lleida where she teaches the GIS subject and the Cartography subject offered jointly by the UdL and the UOC.
