Found a map of the Tauste channel of 1557

Judicial archives are an important source of ancient mapping at the local level. This is the case of the plane of the channel of Taste (1557) found by the researcher Juan José Morales within a litigation conserved in the Real Archive and General of Navarre. M. de Beber wanted to prevent to opening a part of the channel in his domains. Among the expert tests carried out, a reconnaissance of the are was carried out by a commission of experts, led by a commissioner od Royal Council of Navarre, who was asked to elaborate a plot showing their conclusions. It is the oldest graphic document that is know of the Channel of Tauste, antecedent of the current.
