Until October 30, you can visit the 300 aniversario de la Real y Militar Academia de Matemáticas de Barcelona exhibition organised by the Centro de Historia y Cultura Militar Pirenaico, attached to the spanish Army.

 The exhibition traces the history of the Academia, founded in 1720, and contains reproductions of collections from the Archivo General Militar de Segovia and original collections from the Academia that are now in the Biblioteca Histórico Militar de Barcelona.

It is complemented by the projection of the commemorative video “Ingenieros, Militares y Sabios”.

The exhibition is in the cloister of the Gobierno Militar of Barcelona (carrer Portal, 5) and is free to access. The hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., from Tuesday to Saturday (both inclusive).

In addition, during October, a series of conferences related to the Academia, military engineers and their work is scheduled. For more information, see the information leaflet.
