It has just published the book Historia de la cartografía urbana en España: Modelos y realizaciones.

It takes every contribution made in the coloquium  Modelos de la cartografia urbana española: un análisis histórico that took place in Barcelona in February, 2017 and that was organized by the GEHC and the Museo de Historia de Barcelona.  

In this work has been pretended to make a view over different modelos or traditions of representation in Spain between 16th and 19th centuries. There are twenty chapters structured in four categories: 

• views of cities
• urban militar topography,
• cadastral urban planimetry 
• and urban cartography.

The book has been edited by National Geographic Institute (IGN)/Centro Nacional de Información Geográfica (CNIG) and it is available in digital version (free download) as well as paper (CNIG shop).
