CartoMundi, a digital cartographic repository

CartoMundi is a project developed by the Université d’Aix-Marseille with the aim of acting like a platform where to share ancient cartography.

Through agreements, cartographic repositories and archives that have digitalized documentation can use CartoMundi to georeference in a common frame and  spread freely. CartoMundi is specially thought to keep cartographic series.

Currently it has more than 50.000 references that hog more than 190 countries. We highlight that a part of these collections are from West and South countries of Mediterranean.

You can see the collections directly in this document.
