My work is presented within the subject “Press and union organization within the anarchist movement” led by Professor Susanna Tavera. On his proposal, I start the research period of this doctoral program, addressing the analysis of this weekly, Ideas; that was published in Hospitalet del Llobregat between December 1936 and June-July, (we do not know exactly) of 1937. This anarcho-syndicalist magazine, had not yet been analyzed in a work of these characteristics and because of its particularity, it was thought that it was worth It is worth studying in a research paper.
My work analyzes the first 15 numbers; until April 1937, since the month of May the magazine temporarily stops appearing, and later it publishes few more numbers. I focused, then, on the period in which the main labor and anarchist union, the CNT maintained a place of political pre-eminence in Catalonia and a place in the government of the Spanish Republic.
The particularity consists in a very concrete political attitude of the weekly; he was the “spokesman” of the opposition to the official anarchist lines marked by the CNT in this period.
