Next Thursday, October 7, we celebrate the beginning of a new stage, inaugurating the 2021-22 academic year of the new Màster d’Història Contemporània i Món Actual in our Section.

The event will be held in person at 5 pm in the Chapel Classroom of the Historic Building (University Square, ground floor).

Professor María Sierra from the University of Seville will give the lecture: “The Romani Genocide under Nazism: History and Memory.”

Maria Serra has devoted her attention to the study of the cultural foundations of political attitudes, being interested in gender, emotions and political culture. He has led collective research on the historical formation of citizenship and political representation, analyzing inclusion and exclusion.

Admission to the conference is free.
