The exhibition makes 112 documents available to the public from 24 municipal archives in the Barcelona region. The selection of the documentation has been organized in four areas that reflect how the phenomenon of industrialization developed: the control of the Administration, the industrial management, the facilities and machines and, finally, the workers. .
The exhibition is accompanied by a vídeo in which Lisard Palau, explains the role of industrial colonies in industrialization and presents the testimony of Carme Gutiérrez, ex-spinner of the Viladomiu Nou Textile Colony, which also includes the Municipal Archive of Gironella.
