The EDUDEMOC project: Education for Democracy: Proposal for democratic learning environments to promote the participation of university women in deliberative processes in educational contexts (EXI077/21/000002), of which Dr. Concepción Fuentes Moreno is the PI, and is framed within the participation and gender line of the DEMOC 2022 Call.
The general objective of the research is to analyse how feminist culture is assumed, deconstructed and reconstructed with an intersectional and democratic perspective within the Faculty of Education UB (Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education and Simultaneous Itinerary EI-EP) through two main lenses: the management bodies and the classroom environments.
This objective aims to promote the participation of students in decision-making in the educational sphere, through the creation of democratic learning environments with a gender perspective and the conceptualisation of didactic material that responds to the needs detected.
