Renewal of ISO 9001:2015 (Advanced Therapies)
CREATIO HAS SUCCESSFULLY PASSED THE AUDIT AND RENEWS THE ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION FOR 3 MORE YEARS
The certification company SGS world reference in inspection, tests and certifications, has renewed the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS) certification in Creatio, a production and validation center of advanced therapies of the University of Barcelona (UB). The renewal of the certification is not only an external recognition to guarantee the quality of the laboratory protocols and the products and/or services to the users, but at the same time it highlights all the work done by the Creatio team. The constant and methodical work and continuous training of the workers allow us to maintain the worldwide quality standards required by ISO 9001:2015.
Implementing the QMS in our departments, positions Creatio as one of the most prestigious and reference centers in the country. Creatio was first certified in May 2016 and after 7 audits, it not only maintains the certification, but has extended it to other departments, including the inclusion of the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Laboratory in 2019. In fact, Creatio research group is one of the few academic laboratories working under ISO 9001: 2015
The audit took place last June 21 and 22, 2022, where the company was at Creatio’s premises to certify and verify that Creatio’s protocols, processes, systems, products and services follow and meet standard levels of ISO 9001:2015. SGS congratulated the Creatio team for its good document structure and the willingness of the whole team to resolve doubts during the audit. In addition, the report highlighted the team’s high scientific training, especially in the field of neurodegenerative diseases and cell therapy.
Creatio is committed to working under the ISO 9001:2015 standard, both in the laboratory and in the production rooms of advanced therapy drugs in order to obtain high-quality and reproducible academic scientific results, as well as, to ensure quality of their products and/or services to customers, respectively. This latest certification renewal is valid for another 3 years, until May 31, 2025.
