Sandra Obiol Francés.
Professor at the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology of the Universitat de València. Dr. and BA in Sociology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is a member of the Interuniversity Group Copolis «Welfare, Community and Social Control», member of the Teaching Innovation Group CEFOCID-COPOLIS, attached to the University of Barcelona, and responsible for the Interuniversity Group Copolis at the University of Valencia. She was Secretary of the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the University of Valencia. Her research interests are divided between the Sociology of Education and Work, more specifically the living and working conditions of those employed in the textile-clothing sector, the study of the management of uncertainty and the Sociology of the Family, specializing in the study of single-parent families and family policies, all areas in which she has publications in books and national and international scientific articles. She is also a member of the International Thematic Network of Research on Single Parent Families (TIIFAMO Network).
