The XV Spanish Congress of Sociology took place from 26th to 29th June 2024 in the city of Seville under the motto #SociologyForTheDigitalSociety. At this congress, the researchers of the RESCUPAN team were able to present the project. On the one hand, under the title “Gender, welfare and community: the social reconfiguration of care in pandemic”, Carme Vivancos-Sánchez, Elisabet Almeda Samaranch and Màrius Domínguez Amorós presented the project as a whole. The aim of their communication was to delve into the study of the social reorganization of care during the period of the pandemic in the Spanish State, emphasizing the possible changes or permanences in relation to the “before the pandemic”, but also in the period just after the COVID-19 confinement stage. Regarding the quantitative group, Màrius Domínguez Amorós, Leon Freude, Carme Vivancos Sánchez and Marta Luxan Serrano presented the communication “The social reorganization of care in the pandemic. Well-being, community and gender. A revision of the questionnaires of the CIS”. In the qualitative group, Jordi Bonet-Martí, Sandra Obiol Francés and Jokin Azpiazu Carballo presented the paper “Transformación y continuidad en los discursos sobre el cuidado en el contexto de la COVID-19”.
