Clara Camps Calvet. She is a lecturer in sociology at the University of Barcelona. She is also a Research Member of the Copolis Interuniversity Group “Welfare, Community and Social Control” at the UB and director of the CEFOCID-COPOLIS Teaching Innovation Group. PhD in Sociology from the same university, diploma in social education, degree in pedagogy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and official Master in research in sociology from the University of Barcelona. She has conducted research and teaching in three major areas: repression, social movements and social change, as well as gender and punitive control. In addition, she is a pedagogue and has directed and participated in several teaching innovation projects and is the coordinator of the Grupo Enseñanza de la Sociología, of the Spanish Federation of Sociology.
