I am a postdoc, researcher and lecturer in the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany. My research and teaching interests include the Anthropology of Peace and Conflict; Political Anthropology and Anthropology of the State; Studies of Violence, Displacement and Resistance. My research addresses state-society relations and the agency of civilians in armed conflicts of Latin America, especially in Colombia and Guatemala.
