The Paranimf of the Historical Building hosted on May 10, for the first time in three years, the award ceremony of the last third editions of the extraordinary doctoral prize for the 2017-2018, 2018-2019, and 2019-2020 academic years.
Two PhD graduates in Business of the UB Business School have been awarded this prize. The decision was taken by the Governing Council of the Universitat de Barcelona among the theses that have obtained the highest marks:
2018-2019 academic year
Dr Alfonso Antonio Hernández Vivanco: Understanding Innovation within the context of the Integration of Management Systems. The research aims to understand how organizations manage to innovate in a way that they meet the requirements of several stakeholders effectively in order to be sustainable.
2019-2020 academic year
Dr Lijue Lu: Strategic Interactions in Marketing: A Dynamic Approach. The main purpose of the PhD thesis is to contribute to a better understanding of the strategic and dynamic interactions in some marketing problems by using a differential game approach.
