The UB Business School welcomed new students to the Master in Business Research and the PhD in Business programmes for the 2022-23 academic year. Four of our 15 PhD students are from Spain whereas the remaining 73% represents seven different nationalities. In regards to the MSc students, 27% are from Spain and the rest of students come from countries such as China, Mexico, and Uzbekistan.

The new cohort of MSc in Business Research students will now pursue a programme designed to provide students with advanced training in the research skills, techniques and methodologies to conduct their own research in business. The programme can also be taken part-time over two years. They have previously studied at universities such as University of Iowa, University of Westminster, and Beijing Institute of Technology among others.

Students enrolled in the PhD in Business are taking part in a unique programme within the Catalan university system aimed at any students seeking to embark on an international career in research in the area of business. Moreover, the PhD programme has been accredited with Excellence by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency. Our PhD students graduated with a Master’s degree from prestigious institutions like Lund University, Shanghai International Studies University or Sao Paulo State University.
