Concepció Curet, managing partner at the consulting firm GlobalMed, has joined the Universitat de Barcelona Business School as Executive MBA lecturer. She will teach the course on Total Quality & Environmental Management as part of the Operations Module. The course helps students better understand de principles of Total Quality Management; the mission, vision and values of corporate policy; the implications of adopting quality and environmental management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 at all corporate levels; and the Six-sigma process improvement methodology.

Graduated in Technical Agricultural Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and holding a Master’s in Industrial Company Management from Institut Químic de Sarrià (IQS), Concepció Curet has previously worked as a consultant for MCG Management Consulting Group, Institut Català de Tecnologia (ICT), Creative Education Foundation and the Catalan agency for company competitiveness Acció. Since 2013, she is secretary of the Spanish Managers’ Association (AED) managing board in Catalonia.

Concepció Curet joins a teaching staff of more than 30 lecturers, who provide experienced professionals with a comprehensive, integrated understanding of the management techniques and executive skills involved in business organization and administration in today’s complex, competitive and dynamic market. Former Executive MBA students now hold positions such as head of corporate communications, head of accounting, sales manager, operations manager and administrative manager.
