The Universitat de Barcelona Business School invited Carlos Garza, founding partner and director of the catering company Universitas, to be our guest speaker in the Executive MBA “Business Chat”. During this session, which was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business on May 9th 2017, Garza spoke about the company, its mission and values. He also explored the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.

Universitas manages a total of 21 cafes and restaurants at the University of Barcelona, Pompeu Fabra University and Polytechnic University of Catalonia. The company has also expanded its business into catering and events services, available 365 days a year, and vending services.

This was the third “Business Chat” of the academic year 2016-2017. Grupo Fesal Invers partner and CEO José Enrique Alarcón was our first guest speaker of the season (October 26th, 2016), followed by International General Manager at the multinational group Fluidra Pere Ballart (March 17th 2017).
