The Summer School on Management of Creativity in an Innovation Society offers a unique and privileged opportunity for 60 participants from different countries and backgrounds to explore and compare two ecosystems in creative and innovative cities, as well as to tap into new sources of inspiration on how to create environments that stimulate innovation. The course is jointly organised by the Entrepreneurship Chair at the University of Barcelona and the multidisciplinary platform for research and training Mosaic at HEC Montreal. Montreal will be the host city from June 28th to July 7th, 2017, and Barcelona from July 9th to 15th, 2017.
Candidates signing up for the two weeks will be given preference. However, they might choose to register just for one week. The University of Barcelona has announced a scholarship aimed at students at postgraduate level at the University of Barcelona and affiliated centres, which will help cover the course fees. Students have until May 10th, 2017, to submit their applications, as an extended deadline has been agreed.
The participants of the course learn best practices on innovation through a privileged contact with influential leaders and thinkers, along the renowned creators, professionals and managers who have all made their mark in a variety of different fields. This is achieved through company visits, seminars, interactive workshops and co-creation projects. With this experience, participants discover new techniques and management tools to facilitate innovation and creativity in businesses.
