Claudio Cruz participates in the European gamification project Science4Pandemics

Claudio Cruz Cazares, researcher at the UB Business School and StartUB! Director of the University of Barcelona, participates in the European gamification project "Science4Pandemics" (S4P). It is based on a digital platform developed to promote citizen education on pandemic prevention and management. Two researchers join the UB Business School in 2021

The UB Business School has recruited two new researchers in 2021 as Assistant Professors:  David Alaminos: David joined the Department of Business as an assistant professor. He has previously worked at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas and the Universidad de Málaga. He completed his PhD in Economics in 2019, and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2021 from the Universidad de Málaga. Gloria Sanmartin Antolín, PhD Student at the UB Business School, has been awarded by The Beryl Institute Patient Experience Scholar Program. This grant reinforces the commitment of The Beryl Institute to support the growing conversation on the importance of the patient experience in healthcare and expanding the body of knowledge on this topic. For this reason, the grant supports PhD doctoral students as they conduct research associated with the patient experience. The influence of employee representatives on negotiation process

The study “Increasing integrative negotiation in European organizations through trustworthiness and trust” confirmed that employee representatives (ERs), whose management perceives to be trustworthy, has a greater influence on negotiation, particularly regarding to integrative as opposed to distributive issues, and that trust partially mediates this relationship.
