The International Summer School “Barcelona Marketing & Business Models” organised by the University of Barcelona in the framework of the UB Business School will examine the latest topics and challenges in the discipline of marketing. It will take place in one month, from July 17th to 21st, 2017. Topics will include new marketing approaches and strategies, business models, experiences and marketing strategies, innovation, as well as marketing and digital economy.
The School is aimed at aspiring marketing executives looking to acquire a general understanding of the transformational trends and experiences that are shaping current business structures. However, it is also a unique opportunity to network with professionals, managers, professors, researchers and students interested in the latest topics in marketing and business models.
During five days, participants will analyse the emergence of new business models, taking advantage of the various resources available in Barcelona, a city renowned for its creativity and ability to attract talent. The Summer School will not only include courses but also workshops and guided tours, such as the Barcelona Design Museum and the Chocolate Museum. At the end of the programme participants will be familiarised with the tools and guidelines to build solutions that are compatible with the current technology scenario.
