The Business School at the Universitat of Barcelona welcomed 21 new students that joined this year the Executive MBA (EMBA). Most of them come from America (66%), and Europe (34%). Altogether, there are 11 nationalities represented on this class where the average age is 34 years old. This diverse group of people will now pursue a face-to-face programme taught over a single academic year, which provides professionals with a broad point of view in management, business managerial skills and techniques in the current competitive, increasingly changing and complex environment.
Students enrolled on the EMBA typically have an average of 8.5 years previous professional experience and they have an undergraduate degree in Business (48%), Engineering (38%), or Health (14%).
The directors of the programme, Dr Laura Guitart and professor Xavier Garcia, welcomed the new class of the EMBA on September 17th. During this session, students received guidance on the programme as well as all resources and services offered by the university, including general recommendations related to Covid-19.
