The University of Barcelona’s Graduate Programme in Business has been developed for students who intend to pursue a research career in the international area. The Programme comprises a one-year master’s degree (MSc in Business Research) and three years of Business PhD. These two stages can be coursed separately in case the student is meeting the conditions required.

The MSc programme is designed to extend students’ capabilities in using the theoretical and empirical techniques needed to analyze real world Business problems and to provide students with the chance to undertake independent research. The Programme, which is delivered in Spanish and English (70-30%), attracts students from around the world, providing a mix that enhances the international approach to academic life at the University of Barcelona (UB). The MSc programme is the teaching period previous to the PhD. Therefore most of the students complete their PhD in our Faculty.

Students enrolled on the Programme are able to attend frequently seminars and talks delivered by some of the world’s most prestigious academics and professionals and enjoy all benefits of the faculty’s research services and IT facilities in the heart of the vibrant city of Barcelona.
