BIAP member Albert Solé has been promoted to Associate Professor (‘Professor Agregat’) at the University of Barcelona.

As of June 17, 2024, Albert has been appointed as an Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Barcelona. His research focuses on the philosophical foundations of quantum mechanics and, more particularly, of Bohmian mechanics. More generally, he is interested in the connection between physics and metaphysics and a host of topics concerning the philosophy and methodology of science (explanation, representation, confirmation). He has also interests in the history and philosophy of yoga and the non-dualist traditions in India and elsewhere.
