AQR-IREA is pleased to announce the 2023 Barcelona Workshop on Regional and Urban Economics, to be held in Barcelona on October 26th – 27th, 2023.
The workshop will be focused on the global challenges that cities face, with a special focus on spatial dynamics, urbanisation and development. Methodological and empirical contributions will be welcomed.

The University of Barcelona’s Regional Quantitative Analysis Group (AQR) is located in the University’s Department of Econometrics, Statistics and Applied Economy. Its staff, who number some forty professionals from Spain and other countries, conduct research in the field of applied economics and focus on urban and regional issues.
