AQR and GIPE National Consortium members of REFERNET

The Regional Quantitative Analysis Group and the Interdisciplinary Group on Educational Policies of the University of Barcelona, National Consortium members of REFERNET. ReferNet is a network of institutions created by Cedefop, European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training of the European Union, in 2002 to provide information on national vocational education and training (VET) systems and policies in the EU Member States, Iceland and Norway.
ReferNet structure is based on national consortia in each partner country where each is composed of a coordinating entity and other organizations involved in training activities in each country. The State Foundation for Employment Training has been selected as national partner in Spain.
AQR and GIPE have been invited to join ReferNet for their “extensive experience in comprehensive and multidisciplinary research on educational policy in national and international contexts, and in research promotion in areas such as education funding, education and economic growth, equity in education and evaluation of education policies”.
