Continue to good rate the corrections in powerlines to reduce the electrocution risk for the Bonelli's eagle and other birds in the province of Barcelona. At the beginning of this year 2007, 600 supports have been corrected already, on account of the different agreements of collaboration between 3 powerline companies that operate in the province (FECSA-ENDESA, Electra Caldense S.A. and Estabanell y Pahisa Energía S.A.), Diputació Provincial de Barcelona, the University of Barcelona and the Foundation Miquel Torres. 

The corrections have been made in the pre-coastal sector of the province, distributed throughout an area of about 2000 km2 that include the Natural Parks of Montserrat, Sant Llorenç de Munt i l'Obac and Montseny. Throughout year 2007, collaboration with the 3 companies will continue in order to increase the number of corrected pylons. Also, an exhaustive study of evaluation of all the apllicated corrections will be carried out. That will allow to establish the correction measures that have worked more efficiently in the field. This way will be provide pioneering information that will be very useful in the correction works to carry out in the next years.
