VISIGRAPP’2024
On February 27, 2024, our colleague Daniel Ponte Vargas presented his work at the VISAPP'2024 conference held in Rome. In this work he focused on the integration of a food ontology into a deep learning model for multi-task classification of food images. The ontology provides a knowledge transfer that improves the accuracy and generalization of the model in the identification of dishes and food groups.
Women in Data Science
The Women in Data Science (WiDS) initiative aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field. WiDS started as a one-day technical conference at Stanford in November 2015.
