Memoralia de aceras olvidadas (ligues, yiros y cruisings en Latinoamérica)

Universitat de Lleida will be hosting the international colloquium "Memoralia de aceras olvidadas (ligues, yiros y cruisings en Latinoamérica)", coordinated by Laura Martínez (Universitat de Lleida), Rafael M. Mérida (ADHUC-Universitat de Lleida) and Jorge Luis Peralta (ADHUC-UNED), which will take place online from September 14 to 16, 2021. Throughout the three days, this event will include presentations followed by debates around sexual dissidence in the Latin American context, focusing on the intertwining of sexuality and urban space. The talks consider flirting, "yiros" and cruising through the contexts of space studies, literature and historical memory studies. This activity is part of the research project "Memorias de las masculinidades disidentes en España e Hispanoamérica" (PID2019-106083GB-100).
