Cowboys and Smoke Gardeners

The UNESCO Chair in Gender, Development and Cultures co-organises a talk by Carol Bensimon, titled "Caubóis e jardineiros de fumaça", in which the Brazilian writer will discuss her latest novels, Todos nós adorávamos caubóis and Os jardineiros de fumaça. Bensimon is one of the most internationally present writers of the 21st century, and lived spaces, journeys and unstable identities are always central to her narrative. This event is part of the cycle No només Clarice Lispector, organised by Galician and Portuguese Studies in collaboration with the EOI Barcelona Drassanes and the Centro Cultural do Brasil em Barcelona.
