The Grup d'Estudis de Dones i Gènere a l'Antiguitat Tàcita Muta organizes the VII Autumn International Conference Women, Gender, Work, and Violence. History, Thought, and Transmission. The focus will be on the analysis of violence on women at different times in history, such as on textile industry operators, on prostitutes, on actresses, and on bandits, among others. Mariela Fargas (ADHUC-UB), Alba del Pozo (ADHUC-University of Nottingham), Ángeles Caba (IES), Marta Segarra (LEGS-CNRS i ADHUC-UB), Anne-Isabelle Langlois (CNRS), David Muñoz, Araceli Rosillo and Aroa Santiago (Tàcita Muta), Carla Rubiera (Universidad de Oviedo), Marc Orriols (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), and Meritxell Ferrer (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) will take part in the conference.
