I ara, què fem amb la igualtat? | La violència amb la llei a la mà

The Research center ADHUC and a group of women judges organize two interdisciplinary acts which suggest reading, reflecting and debating topical issues on legal, social and theoretical fields from the perspective of gender, violence, and equality. The public attending the acts will be provided beforehand with readings about thinking, legislation, court rulings or literature so as to ensure a fruitful and active debate. Attendance by invitation until full capacity is reached. This workshop is part of the research projects "La transmissió des del pensament filosòfic femení" and "Víctimes i agressores. Representacions de la violència en la narrativa criminal escrita per dones".

And now, what do we do with equality?

This workshop, which will be held on March 13, 2017, will count with the participation of the philosopher and journalist Ida Dominijanni, author of the book Il trucco. Sessualità e biopolitica nella fine di Berlusconi (2014), the philosopher Fina Birulés (ADHUC, Universitat de Barcelona) and the women judges Nekane San Miguel (Secció Sexta from the Audiencia Provincial de Vizcaya) and Àngels Vivas (Audiència Provincial de Barcelona).

Violence on legal grounds

This workshop, which will be held on November 3, 2017, will include the participation of judge Àngels Vivas (Audiència Provincial de Barcelona), representing the Institut Català de les Dones and the Centre d'Estudis Jurídics i Formació Especialitzada; psychonanalyst Laura Vaccarezza; Guillermo Corral Manzano (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México), writer Marta Sanz and judge Nekane San Miguel (Sección Sexta de la Audiencia Provincial de Vizcaya).
