El crit de la literatura / Reduir a la pols. Art i violència

Hélène Cixous will give two lectures in Barcelona, on June 17 and 18. The first, entitled "El crit de la literatura", will be held as part of the Symposium "Polítiques de les emocions: Diàlegs des del gènere i la sexualitat" and will take place at the CCCB - Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona. The second, "Reduir a la pols. Art i violència", will be held at Arts Santa Mònica as part of the exhibition by Freya Powell "I'll smile and I am not sad". After the lecture, there will be a dialogue between the artist Roni Horn (Joan Miró Award 2013), Joana Masó and Marta Segarra (Centre Dona i Literatura), chaired by Eric Prenowitz (University of Leeds). The first event will be in French and the second, in English. Simultaneous interpretation will be available in both.
