Llocs que les escriptores han posat en els mapes
The course "Llocs que les escriptores han posat en els mapes" proposes a literary trip to the real/imagined places and spaces of five women writers whose works have meant a watershed in Catalan, French, English and Canadian literature. Space and memory, community and myth, cities and passions or war zones are the different common places that we will visit in novels, short stories and drama. Specialists in each author will guide the reading. ¿To what extent have the authors transformed the real spaces into personal and symbolic stages? ¿Can we look at the narrated places in the same way after these singular voices have shaped them in their fiction? ¿Are these spaces characters in their own right?
Registration is free from May 14 onwards, and it can be done in person at the Biblioteca Clarà, by phone at 932 801 547, or by email at b.barcelona.cl@diba.cat.
