Scientific Journals in the Humanities

Scientific publishing is fundamental not only for those tasks related to documentation but also for the communication of research results. For the predoctoral researchers to have the most up to date information, thereby allowing them to optimize their research, the CRAI Library of Letters at the Universitat de Barcelona is offering the course "Revistes científiques en l'àmbit de les humanitats: recursos i eines" (Scientific Journals in the Humanities: Resources and Tools). The course, oriented toward gender studies, consists of two sessions during which questions on searching catalogues and using search engines, the politics of open access, visibility and impact in the humanities will be covered. Attendance by invitation only. Registration is free and must be completed before October 2nd either by filling out the contact form or by email to cdona@ub.edu.
