Latino Boys, Masculinity, and the Abjection of Homosexuality

The Centre Dona i Literatura has organized the seminar "Latino Boys, Masculinity, and the Abjection of Homosexuality" which will be given by the sociologist Richard Mora. Mora has studied at Harvard University and is a professor at Occidental College, Los Angeles. He is a specialist in the analysis of Hispanic masculinities, education, gender, race, ethnicity and ethnography, topics on which he has published extensively. The seminar is held as part of the activities of the research project "Men in Fiction: Toward a History of Masculinity through U.S. Literature and Cinema, 20th and 21st Centuries", coordinated by Àngels Carabí.
