RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Specialist doctors, intensivists, hepatologists, anaesthetists or internists who wish to gain theoretical and practical knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, both surgical and non-surgical, on critical processes that affect patients with digestive diseases and care for patients who have undergone a liver transplant.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To learn the clinical care protocols and work on care for gastroenterological, hepatic, post-surgery and transplant patients or those affected by a critical process (admitted to a critical care or semi-critical care unit).
- To gain the skills required to independently apply them in a critical care setting: venous access, arterial access, airway control, hemodynamic control, mechanical ventilation control, kidney and liver support.
