Degree holders in language, linguistics, translation and other human and social sciences with an advanced knowledge of Catalan language.
Admission requirements:
- Candidates who are not graduates in Catalan Philology should provide proof of an advanced level of Catalan proficiency: 20 credits in Catalan language in other university courses, a level C2 (former level D) in Catalan proficiency or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants who do not hold a university degree will be eligible for a university extension diploma.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
- Language consultancy: To acquire the basic knowledge, tools and strategies employed in the review and correction of oral and written texts, and the operation of an institutional language service or editorial or publishing service as language consultants.
- Publishing: To acquire the basic knowledge, tools and strategies employed in the editorial management of resources related to text production (text preparation, illustration, editorial collections, etc.) and dissemination (different formats, and legal, business and financial factors involved).
