Graduates in psychology or medicine wishing to acquire specialist training as psychotherapists.
The course is organized in modules to adapt the training to previous experience or professional activities (if in the first year the student is hired in a centre of the public network, the possibility of recognizing the modules Psychotherapy I and II will be studied).
Admission requirements: Professionals who have completed a university bachelor's degree and have specialized in mental health, either through postgraduate courses or work experience. Bachelor's degree or postgraduate subjects with psychoanalytical content are a prerequisite for joining the course. Candidates must submit a CV and attend a personal interview.
- To acquire training in the theory and technique of psychoanalytical psychotherapy in institutional contexts and in the public mental health care network.
- To learn the theory of individual, family or group interventions focused on child and adolescent or adult care.
- To acquire training to become referential professionals in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
- To acquire accredited specialized training for professional practice as a psychotherapist, regulated by the Spanish Federation of Psychotherapist Associations (FEAP).
- To acquire training in theory, clinical practice and case supervision, following FEAP criteria.
- To acquire expert knowledge applicable to professional practice in public assistance for adults or for children and adolescents.
