The course is aimed at four priority groups: secondary school teachers; town council culture specialists; culture and communication managers; graduates of history or other degrees who want to deepen knowledge of the topics proposed in the postgraduate course.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
General objectives
To learn fundamental processes in the considered period
To learn in depth the economic, political, institutional, social, cultural, geographic and gender dimensions of the considered period.
To consider the main approaches of historiography and social sciences on the considered period and especially those that take into account the transnational element and have an interdisciplinary perspective
To gain a command of the main tools required to draw up a research study
To learn the tools required to draw up a knowledge transfer project
To learn the main areas of public policies on memory, also at international level
Specific objectives:
To gain the capacity to teach the contents of the postgraduate course in secondary education schools
To gain the capacity to propose a knowledge transfer project associated with the programme contents
To gain the competences required to draw up a research project
To gain the competences required to transmit knowledge on the topics of the postgraduate course in different formats
