The ENTERIC VIRUS GROUP at the University of Barcelona (UB) has a distinguished and long-standing track record in the study of human viruses that infect the digestive tract, such as hepatitis A and hepatitis E viruses, gastroenteritis viruses (astrovirus, norovirus, sapovirus, rotavirus, adenovirus, etc.), and enteric viruses associated with neurological infections (enterovirus, astrovirus).
