1st semester enrolment periods (from September to December 2013)
Face to face Basic and Elementary courses
Students must enrol at the Language Services Secretary's Office. The enrolment period opens on 26 August for all the courses and closes 10 days before the first day of class of each course. These courses are open to UB students and to the general public.
Alternatively, UB students can enrol in the Basic 1 course using the SL's online application form.
Online Basic courses
Students can apply to the online courses between 1 and 15 October 2013 here.
2nd semester enrolment periods (from January to June 2014)
Face to face Basic and Elementary courses
Students must enrol at the Language Services Secretary's Office. The enrolment period opens on 2 December 2013 for all the courses and closes 10 days before the first day of class of each course. These courses are open to UB students and to the general public.
Alternatively, UB students can enrol in the intensive Basic 1 courses (30th January to 7th February) using the SL's online application form. |

Course enrolment: documents to be presented
Documents to be presented
1. National identity document or passport
2. UB students must present proof of payment of the enrolment fee at their faculty.
3. Exchange students must present their Erasmus card, or the card of the program under which they are studying at the UB.
4. Students who wish to enrol in general language courses and who have already passed a course at the Language Services or elsewhere should present the diploma or certificate they were awarded.
Enrolment process
After completing the enrolment form at the Language Services Secretary’s Office, students should pay the course fee at any branch of one of the banks listed here:

Terms and conditions
• Courses may be cancelled if the number of students does not reach the minimum required.
• No further students will be admitted once the maximum number has been reached, even if the enrolment period is still open when this happens.
• The enrolment fee will not be returned under any circumstances, even if a student drops out of a course.
• Once enrolled in a course, students may only change group with the authorization of the Secretary’s Office.
• To qualify for a certificate or credits students must attend at least 80% of the classes.
• Students who fail a course may sit a second examination.
