I am interested in cancer biology and cell differentiation processes. I would like to understand how mechanisms of trans and dedifferentiation are related to tumor formation. In my PhD, I am studying the formation of overgrowths in planarians and how the HIPPO pathway may be playing a role through different putative downstream effectors.
