Alejandra Abeledo

Alejandra Abeledo Machado graduated in Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, University of Buenos Aires, Argentina (FyCEN-UBA). She is a PhD student at the Laboratory of Physiology and Pathology of the Pituitary Gland (IBYME-CONICET) under the direction of Dra. Graciela Díaz-Torga. Alejandra is currently working in our laboratory through a travel grant scholarship from the Boehringer Ingelheim fonds. She is studying the interaction between the dopamine receptor D2 and the bradykinin receptor B2 and its impact on dopamine resistant prolactinomas.
