VISITING PH.D. STUDENT

Caio Massari graduated in Biological Sciences at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC, Brazil) in 2014. Currently, he is performing his PhD at UFSC under the supervision of Dra. Carla Tasca. He is visiting our laboratory in the framework of the “Programa Doutorado Sanduicheno Exterior (PDSE)” supported by the Brazilian government (CAPES). His research involves the use of Guanosine as a neuroprotective agent in Parkinson's disease, thus unravelling the contribution of adenosine receptors in Guanosine signalling.
