Ph.D. Student

Ana Santos Gómez studied Basic and Experimental Biomedicine and did different research internships at University of Seville and University of Liverpool. She performed a Master in Neuroscience at University of Barcelona. Her Master project (TFM), under the supervision of Dr. Altafaj, focused on de novo mutations in NMDA receptors related to neurodevelopmental and psyquiatric disorders. Currently, she is performing her PhD in the group under the supervision of Dr. Xavier Altafaj. Her work focus on the molecular and cellular neurobiology of glutamate receptors in neurodevelopmental and psyquiatric disorders.
