Gaëlle ia as master student from the University of Ghent, Belgium who came to the research group on ERASMUS in February 2016. Here she is currently performing her master thesis entitled “Study of GPCR heterodimerization and its role in the central nervous system (CNS)”. More specifically, she is studying the interaction between the dopamine D2 receptor (D2R) and the metabotropic glutamate receptor type 5 (mGlu5) and its role in epilepsy and Alzheimer disease”.
