Macarena Gómez de Salazar

Macarena Gómez de Salazar studied Biology at the Universidad Complutense (UCM ,Madrid, Spain). She obtained a Master Erasmus Mundus on Neuroscience from the Vrije University Amsterdam, Bordeaux University and Charité Berlin in 2014, where she did research internships in different labs. She is now performing her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Xavier Altafaj. Her work is focused on the molecular and cellular neurobiology of NMDA receptors in Alzheimer's disease.
